not much

-I seriously need to learn to color better... Like make it not look sloppy... and start understanding value a tad more.
-Need to work on backgrounds... I have a ton of references from books.
-Do more character concepts using my Peoples of the World and IN FOCUS books as inspiration. (Like arnistotle's characters for APB and such.)

What I learned today:

-Dustin is going to be a good teacher, I should hang out with him more.
-I need to learn how to render interiors with different lighting.
-Steal friends for a day or two to do photo shoot in weird areas. *buy giant flashlight
-Things become grayer the further they are and more saturated (intenser color) the closer they are.
-Don't expect to paint it perfectly without practicing from reference first.
-Remember color values. *check out swatch libraries on PS and Painter.
-Study awesome artists more, make notes of why the pics are so attractive.
